Unit Role:

56 Signal Squadron is part of 39 Signal Regiment (Volunteers), itself part of the Royal Corps of Signals. Our exciting and challenging role is to provide a number of voice and secure telegraph communication links over long distances including overseas, using High Frequency Radios (HF) in support of the machinery of war. Training: We train every Tuesday from 19.30-21.30 plus one or two weekends a month.
